The Species database includes every officially recognised palm species and cycad species in the world plus many variants and cultivars. All are listed using the correct, up-to-date botanical scientific name. But don't worry if you're unsure of the name, you don't have to know the botanical name of the palm you're looking for, you may search for any name; scientific, common, scientific synonyms, common synonyms, even many Spanish, French, Italian and German names are searchable.
