Identification
A new species of climbing Dypsis from 513 m elevation, Antskanilahady, Ambatovaky, Toamasina province, Madagasar. Solitary, 3 m tall, 1-2 cm trunk diamiter, 6-7 leave in the crown, 16 leaflet pairs, leaf sheath 12 cm, infrafoliar inflorescene branched to 2 orders, peduncle 8-9 cm.
