Heterospathe barfodii Information
Identification:
A newly discovered species from the area of Milne Bay, along the dirt road Kabawawa highway, Papua New Guinea. Differs from other Heterospathe in having a distinct crownshaft, infrafoliar inflorescences, and persitent prophyll. This species has been in cultivation for some time but unrecognised.
