Distribution:
Native to, Ecuador, Peru
On eastern Andean slopes in Ecuador and Peru at 2698(2090-3000) m elevation in pajonal or dwarf forest. There is geographic discontinuity and specimens come from two areas on the eastern slopes of the Andes - southern Ecuador, and central Peru.
Location: Peru (-3.425692°N, -78.442383°E)
