Native to, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela
In southern Venezuela and adjacent Colombia (Guainia) and Brazil (Amazonas) at 214(65-1000) m elevation in lowland rainforest usually near streams or rivers on flooded or non-flooded soils.
Location: Venezuela (1.738503°N, -66.577148°E)
